Long Wave
45min of sunburnt back and rock squatting resulted in this photo. I watched set after set roll in and each time I tried to capture the perfect shot either the wave broke unevenly, I was too slow or had been distracted. Finally the perfect wave came and I time it right. I was glad to get the shot I was chasing but paid the price with a red and sore back for the next couple of days. Perseverance is key, as is reapplying sunblock.
