My unique style of ocean landscapes and farm animal photography reflects my life growing up on a farm on the South West coast of WA.
While growing up I borrowed my brothers camera and took photos around the farm, primarily of sunsets and the ocean but it wasn’t until recently that events led me to create a business around my passion.
In early 2020 I was living in Melbourne working as a personal trainer but the start of the pandemic meant the closure of gyms. I couldn't work and the talk of lockdowns and border closures prompted me to jump on the first plane home to WA.
I suddenly had a lot of free time on my hands and found more time to send up my drone and capture the beauty of home. My Dad suggested I print and frame a few and take them to the markets and the rest is history. I had so much fun and people seemed to really enjoy my take on the south west. That was all the encouragement I needed, I decided to move home and make a go of this photography business thing.
I love experimenting and playing with new ideas to see what interests people. This resulted in fun and unique products like my jigsaw puzzles and the timber rounds (circular frames) that are created in conjunction with local business owner Ewan from Timber Grooves in Vasse.
